Title |
9-MT-Metastatic tumor |
Sample type |
RNA |
|
|
Source name |
Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm (SPN) of pancreas
|
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Characteristics |
tissue type: MT-Metastatic tumor sample type: Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded blocks (FFPE Blocks)
|
Growth protocol |
tissue protocol: Formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded blocks of SPN specimens were obtained from the archives of the Institute of Pathology. Samples were reviewed, and ten micrometer thick sections were cut from the tumor block, and transferred on to glass slides. A single glass slide containing a block sample was stained with hematoxylin and eosin, and tumor margins were marked by the pathologist (EB). Microdissection was performed manually to extract tumoral tissue using a sharp scalpel.
