Sample GSM2196869 Query DataSets for GSM2196869
Status Public on Oct 06, 2016
Title Vehicle_3357
Sample type SRA

Source name ventricle cardiac myocyte
Organism Rattus norvegicus
Characteristics age: neonatal
treatment: vehicle control
genotype: wildtype
Treatment protocol One day after isolation, NRVMs were treated with control micro RNA mimic or miR-9 mimic (25nM) then 24 hrs after miR treatment, the cells were washed and treated with phenylepherine (10µM) or vehicle. After 48 hours of stimulation, cells were harvested for RNA seq analysis
Growth protocol Cardiomyocytes isolated from the ventricles of neonatal rat hearts were plated on 10cm plastic dishes coated with 0.2% gelatin at a density of 160,000 cells/ml in 12 ml of media.
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol RNA was isolated from NRVMs using the High Pure RNA Isolation Kit (Roche)
NA was submitted to the WITG for library preparation (TruSeq Stranded mRNA Library Prep Kit, Illumina)

Library strategy RNA-Seq
Library source transcriptomic
Library selection cDNA
Instrument model Illumina HiSeq 2000

Data processing FASTq files were aligned with Tophat2 and quantified using Cufflinks
Genome_build: rn4
Supplementary_files_format_and_content: FPKM
