strain: C57BL gender: male tissue: liver treatment short name: H2O treatment full name: Water treatment duration [days]: 56 treatment dose: 0 % (w/v) group: H2O 56d
Treatment protocol
After 28 (or 56) days treatment, mice were sacrificed by a rising concentration of carbon dioxide, and subject to necropsy to remove the liver, which was rinsed in sterile phosphate-buffered saline, snap-frozen in liquid nitrogen and stored at -80oC.
Growth protocol
Adult male mice (mus muculus) on a C57BL/6J background were treated with phenobarbital (0.05%w/v, drinking water) for 28 or 56d; CITCO for 28d (daily, 10mg/kg, intraperitoneal); WY14,643 for 28d (daily, 100mg/kg, oral gavage); piperonyl butoxide for 28d (daily, 600mg/kg, intraperitoneal); pioglitazone for 28d (daily, 100mg/kg, oral gavage); methapyrilene for 28d (1000ppm, in food); 1,4-Dichlorobenzene for 28d (daily, 600mg/kg, oral gavage); cyproterone acetate for 28d (daily, 16omg/kg, oral gavage).
