Sample GSM1535805 Query DataSets for GSM1535805
Status Public on Apr 01, 2015
Title WL_Pish-Exp3-S3dH2O
Sample type RNA

Source name fourth leaves of rice (pish) at 3 days after treatment with water
Organism Oryza sativa
Characteristics cultivar: Nipponbare
tissue: Fourth leaves
blast resistance transgene: pish
blast resistance phenotype: Susceptible
inoculant: water
Treatment protocol Conidia suspension of rice blast fungus (1 × 106/mL) was sprayed on the fourth leaves of rice plants, which was harvested at 1, 2, 3, and 5 days after inoculation.
Growth protocol Rice seedlings at 4.5 leaf stage were grown in a chamber under 14 h light (28C) and 10 h dark (24C).
Extracted molecule total RNA
Extraction protocol RNeasy Plant Mini kit (Quiagen, #74904) was used.
Label cy3
Label protocol Total RNA (400 ng) was labeled with cy3 using Quick Amp Labeling Kit, One-Color (Agilent).

Hybridization protocol Cy3-labeled cRNA (1650 ng) was fragmented and hybridized at 65°C for 17 haccording to the manufacture's protocol.
Scan protocol Slides were scanned on an Agilent G2505B DNA microarray scanner.
Description Susceptible rice at 3 days after treatment with H2O (Exp3)
Gene expression in the fourth leaves of rice (pish) at 3 days after treatment with water
Data processing The scanned images were analyzed with Feature Extraction Software 10.5.1.1 (Agilent) using default parameters to obtain background subtracted.
