4 mice per strain were dosed with vehicle (sterile water) and 4 with isoniazid (100 mg/kg) once daily by oral gavage for 3 days.

24 hours after the final dose, mice were sacrificed, livers were excised, and left liver lobe tissue was flash frozen in liquid nitrogen. Total liver RNA was isolated with the RNeasy total RNA isolation kit (Qiagen) according to manufacturer’s instructions.

Samples were hybridized to the Affymetrix GeneChip Mouse Genome 430 2.0 Array using the Hybridization, Wash and Stain kit (Affymetrix). Following hybridization, arrays were washed and stained using standard Affymetrix procedures.
