The raw log2 transformed 14,111 probes that are expressed in both phase of CDGY studies were normalized utilizing Supervised Normalization of Microarray algorithm (SNM package is downloadable from bioconductor) fitting technical effects of plate and RNA quality, adjusting BMI, gender, ethnicity, and Age. CVD_TYPE was considered as a biological variable.
