Fixed embryonic hearts were homogenised using an Ultra-Turrax, sonicated and Nkx2-5-DNA complexes were isolated using NKX-2.5 (N-19) sc-8697 antibody from Santa Cruz. Libraries were prepared according to Illumina's instructions accompanying the DNA Sample Kit (Part# 0801-0303).
