Overall design |
To study the effect of AIF3 splicing on gene expression, MEF cells were isolated from AIF3 floxed embryos and infected with or without CRE lentivirus. Single-cell clones expressing either AIF or AIF3 splicing were established as WT and AIF3 cell lines, respectively. The AIF3 single clone C3 was used in this study. Additionally, a rescue cell line expressing exogenous AIF in AIF3 C3 clone, designated as AIF3-AIF, was established.
