To investigate the relationship between the expression of the UPR (unfolded protein response) genes, and the SARS-CoV-2 infection, a study was carried out based on the infection of hamster, Mesocricetus auratus. UPR gene levels were compared between infected and uninfected hamsters at different temporal points.
