Title Transcriptional dysregulation impairs efficacy of neural stem cell activation during aging [ATAC-seq]
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Genome binding/occupancy profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary To examine whether chromatin accessibility is associated with transcription of age-dependent genes in NSC aging, we profiled the chromatin accessibility at the promoters and enhancers of age-dependent genes using the assay for transposase-accessible chromatin with sequencing (ATAC-seq).

Overall design Primary NSCs were isolated from the subventricular zone of the lateral ventricles (SVZ) in the brains of young and aged mice, respectively. The NSCs were maintained in the initial proliferation medium and used in ATAC-Seq analysis.
