Summary Hematopoietic stem and progenitors cells interact with organ specific stem cell niches. We used single cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) to analyze the gene expression of hematopoietic and potential stromal cells in the bone marrow and spleen with or without PyMT-B6 breast cancer.
 
Overall design Bone marrow and splenic hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells as well as a variety of stromal cell populations were isolated from mice with or without PyMT-B6 tumors using fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS).
