Title Extrathymic expression of Aire controls the induction of effective TH17 cell-mediated immune response to Candida albicans
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary To investigate the effect of Candida albicans on ILC3 cells and dendritic cells these subytpes were isolated by flow cytometry, in similar fashion candida specific T-cells were obtained and subjected to bulk mRNA sequencing

Overall design mRNA profiling of conventional ILC3, MHCII+ ILC3, Aire+ ILC3 and DCs in homeostasis or stimulated by heat-killed Candida albicans. mRNA profilling of T-cells stimulated by Candida albicans, mRNA profiling of Aire-suficient or deficient Aire-expressing ILC3 cells stimulated by Candida albicans
