Title |
Time-course of host cell transcription during the HTLV-1 transcriptional burst |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
We report the host cell transcription during the phases of the HTLV-1 plus-strand burst.

|
Overall design |
We used two naturally HTLV-1-infected clones isolated from patient blood, which were transduced with a Tax-responsive Timer construct reporter, that allowed the separation of proviral plus-strand burst into silent (DN – double negative), early (Blue), mid (DP – double positive), late phases (Red). The cells were sorted into these populations based on the Timer fluorescence and submitted to RNA sequencing. Each timepoint had two replicates.
