Title Effect of neutrophil extracellular vesicles treatment on the K/BxN mouse model of arthritis
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary Arthritis was induced in C57BL/6 mice by injection of arthritogenic serum. This study aims to evaluate the transcriptomic profile of the K/BxN model of arthritis in knee joints, as well as he anti-inflammatory/tissue pro-repair effect of the intra-articular administration of neutrophil extracellular vesicles (EVs).

Overall design Four study groups were included: Disease (arthritic, n=4); Naive (healthy, n=4); Treated (arthritic, treated with EVs, n=8); Control (arthritic, treated with vehicle, n=8). Arthritis was induced with two injections of K/BxN arthritigenic serum on days 0 and 2. Treatments were applied on day 3. Mice were sacrificed on day 10.
