Title Whole genome mRNA expression profiling during Candida albicans growth in complete human serum and butanol
Organism Candida albicans
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary In order to get an insight into the complex interplay of mRNAs during the growth in complete human serum supplemented with butanol, the total RNA population of Candida albiacns NCCPF 400034 extracted at 20, 45, and 120 minutes was sequenced by Next Generation sequencing techniques. The control RNA was extracted from Candida cells placed in YPD medium for 18 hrs at 37 ° C and was also sequenced using the next generation sequenicng technique.

Overall design Total RNA extraction from samples grown in YPD as control (02 samples) or complete human serum + butanol (06 samples: 02replicates each time point ) and library preparared using Illumina kits. Sequenicng was performed using next generation sequencing platform.
