Title |
Transcriptional analysis of SARS-CoV-2 specific CD4 T cells |
Organism |
Homo sapiens |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
The objective of this analysis was to determine if there was a transcriptional difference in the CD4 T cell response elicited by SARS-CoV-2 infection in individuals that quickly resolved their infection compared to those individuals with prolonged SARS-CoV-2-associated symptoms

Overall design |
A total of PBMC 10 samples from convalescent COVID-19 patients were stimulated in vitro with SARS-CoV-2 Spike protein peptide pools overnight. Spike-reactive CD4 T cells were identified by merit of their upregulation of CD69 and CD134 in response to peptide stimulation. Antigen-specific cells were sorted directly into RLT+ lysis buffer for transcriptional analysis
