Title |
Transcriptome profile of Escherichia coli K12 MG1655 cells lacking selected genes |
Organism |
Escherichia coli str. K-12 substr. MG1655 |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
The aim of the study was to compare the transcriptome of E. coli K12 MG1655 cells lacking genes known to induce the Rtc RNA repair system, such as gor, mazF and srmB, to wild-type cells. In all cases, less than 1% of the genes were found to be differentially expressed.
