Title Next Generation Sequencing Facilitates Quantitative Analysis of watermelon fruit Transcriptomes
Organism Citrullus lanatus
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary Analysis of gene expression level. The hypothesis tested in the present study was that 5-azacytidine affects fruit ripening.

Overall design mRNA profiles of six stages in watermelon fruit (97103) were generated by deep sequencing, in triplicate, using Illumina Hiseq 2500 ( Citrullus lanatus).
