Title |
RNA sequencing analysis of pig neonatal left ventricular tissues |
Organism |
Sus scrofa |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
The goal of this study is to examine transcriptomic changes in the left ventricles during the transition from a regenerative to a non-regenerative state in the pig neonatal heart. RNA was isolated from pig left ventricular tissue at postnatal day (P)0, P7, and P15, to compare the regeneration-capable P0 cardiac transcriptomic environment to the non-regenerative timepoints of P7 and P15, in pig hearts.

Overall design |
Left-ventricular RNA from newborn, one-week, and two-week pig hearts in triplicate per group was analyzed by deep RNA sequencing.
