| Overall design |
V. cholerae wild-type cells carrying pBAD1K-ctrl (empty control vector) or pBAD1K-oppZ (inducible sRNA expression vector) were grown to exponential phase (OD600=0.5). Expression of OppZ was induced by L-arabinose and total RNA samples were collected 15 minutes after induction. The experiment was performed with three independent biological replicates.
