Title |
Identification of Pol II(G) target genes in mouse liver [ChIP-seq] |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Genome binding/occupancy profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
To investigate the biological role of Pol II(G), we identified Pol II(G) target genes in normal mouse liver.
|
|
|
Overall design |
To identify genes that are directly targeted by Pol II(G) in hepatocytes, we performed ChIP-seq analysis with non-crosslinked chromatin prepared from Gdown1 flox/flox (FF) or Gdown1flox/flox;Alb-Cre (KO) liver at 7W of age. We also analyzed Gdown1 target genes in p53KO hepatocytes. For the negative control, tamoxifen (TAM)-inducible Gdown1flox/floxKO mice carrying both the Alb-CreERT2 transgene and a p53 null mutation was used.
