Overall design |
To investigate differentially expressed genes in Gdown1 knockout (KO) hepatocytes in the presence or absence of p53, total RNA was isolated from liver tissues of the following genotypes: Gdown1 flox/flox (FF), Gdown1flox/flox;Alb-Cre (KO), Gdown1 flox/flox;p53-/- (p53KO), and Gdown1flox/flox;Alb-Cre;p53-/- (DKO). To investigate the immediate effects of the Gdown1 KO, we generated tamoxifen (TAM)-inducible Gdown1flox/floxKO mice carrying both the Alb-CreERT2 transgene and a p53 null mutation (DKOAlb-CreERT2mice). The liver tissues were collected from p53KO or DKOAlb-CreERT2 mice at 24 hours after tamoxifen injection.
