Summary |
Some mouse embryonic stem cell (mESC) lines need to be maintained on feeder cells in gelatin/Std condition. To eliminate the need for feeder cells, we decided to maintain the C57BL6/J mESCs on dishes coated with Laminin-511 (LN511) enabling maintenance of mESCs without feeder cells in Std condition (Domogatskaya et al., 2008). To compare the transcriptomes of mESCs cultured on gelatin-coated dish and those cultured on Laminin-511 coated dish, we performed RNA-Seq analysis. We found that the transcriptomes of mESCs cultured on gelatin-coated dish and those cultured on LN511 coated dish showed no considerable difference in expression patterns.
