Title Impact of acute aerobic exercise on genome-wide DNA methylation in natural killer cells - a pilot study

Summary This pilot study investigates the influence of an acute bout of exercise on DNA-methylation on isolated natural killer (NK-) cells. Therefore, 5 healthy women performed a graded exercise test with blood sampling before and 1 Min after. After NK-cell separation, DNA was isolated and DNA-methylation was analyszed usind the Ilumina Infinium MethylationEPIC BeadChip.
 
Overall design NK-cell DNA isolated before and after an acute bout of exercise was analyzed using the Infinium MethylationEPIC BeadChip.
