Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary
We performed low input RNA-seq and single-cell RNA-seq to transcriptionally characterize four human innate T cell (ITCs) subsets, namely iNKT, MAIT, Vδ1 expressing γδ T cells, and Vδ2 expressing γδ T cells. We compared ITCs to CD4+ T and CD8+ T cells, representing the adaptive compartment, and to Natural Killer (NK) cells, representing the innate compartment.
Overall design
Low input RNA-seq was performed for 6 healthy individuals, with two replicates per cell type. Single-cell RNA-seq was performed for 2 healthy individuals, obtaining a total of 2,036 high quality cells.
