Title Single cell multi-omics analysis reveals novel roles for DNA methylation in sensory neuron injury responses
Organism Mus musculus
Experiment type Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing
Methylation profiling by high throughput sequencing
Summary We used single cell multi-omics method to simultaneously profiled both DNA methylome and mRNA transcriptome from single DRG sensory neurons under either control or peripheral nerve injury condition.

Overall design In this study, we performed sciatic nerve injury surgery on C57BL/6 and CAST/Ei crossing mice at different ages, and performed scMT-seq, μRNA-seq (low-input RNA-seq) and μWGBS (low-input WGBS) on sensory neurons under intact and injured condition. Bioinformatic analysis revealed novel role for DNA methylation in sensory neuron injury responses.
