Title |
Single cell multi-omics analysis reveals novel roles for DNA methylation in sensory neuron injury responses |
Organism |
Mus musculus |
Experiment type |
Expression profiling by high throughput sequencing Methylation profiling by high throughput sequencing
|
Summary |
We used single cell multi-omics method to simultaneously profiled both DNA methylome and mRNA transcriptome from single DRG sensory neurons under either control or peripheral nerve injury condition.

Overall design |
In this study, we performed sciatic nerve injury surgery on C57BL/6 and CAST/Ei crossing mice at different ages, and performed scMT-seq, μRNA-seq (low-input RNA-seq) and μWGBS (low-input WGBS) on sensory neurons under intact and injured condition. Bioinformatic analysis revealed novel role for DNA methylation in sensory neuron injury responses.
