Summary |
The disease visceral leishmaniasis (VL), caused by Leishmania (L.) infantum, its a serious public health problem in Brazil. Studies with miRNAs showed their regulation in the immune response, due to cell immune suppression to be determinant at disease progression, identify them is important for the mechanism of change in immune response. We suggest then, that miRNAs regulation at immune response of dogs with VL.

Overall design |
Fourteen dogs were used to form two groups for the study: 5 healthy dogs in Control group and 9 dogs naturally infected with L. infantum in Infected group.
