Description This is a condensed platform of the full array which has probes designed from a robust set of non-redundant virtual transcripts (NRVT) (25,906, ~20Mb) transcribed in quiescent and germinated spores, extraradical mycelium (ERM) and symbiotic roots of Glomus intraradices produced by Sanger- and 454-sequencing. The G. intraradices EST expression array (4 x 72K) manufactured by Roche NimbleGen Systems Limited (Madison, WI) contained three independent, non identical, 60-mer probes per sequence. Included in the oligoarray were 22,402 G. intraradices non-redundant transcripts, 5785 random 60-mer control probes and labeling controls.
