MIR-3607 is downregulated in lymphatic invasion and in recurrent cancer colorectal cancer (CRC) patients and correlated with Pan-Cancer patient survival. Overexpression of miR-3607 decreases CRC cell proliferation, migration and invasion. MiR-3607 affects the DNA damage repair pathway by targeting DNA damage inducible 1 homolog 2 (DDI2).

MicroRNA-3607 inhibits the tumorigenesis of colorectal cancer by targeting DDI2 and regulating the DNA damage repair pathway.

Study determined that the expression of a novel circRNA, circIRAK3, was increased in metastatic breast cancer (BC) cells and predictive of BC recurrence and identified miR-3607 as a circIRAK3-associated miRNA. FOXC1 the target of miR-3607, was downregulated in circIRAK3-silenced cells and mediated circIRAK3-induced BC cell migration. FOXC1 in turn could bind to the IRAK3 promoter, triggering a positive-feedback loop.

CircIRAK3 sponges miR-3607 to facilitate breast cancer metastasis.

findings indicate that miR-3607-3p can inhibit NSCLC cell growth and metastasis by targeting TGFBR1 and CCNE2 protein expression, and provide new evidence of miR-3607-3p as a potential non-invasive biomarker and therapeutic target for NSCLC

miR-3607-3p suppresses non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) by targeting TGFBR1 and CCNE2.
