    Summary
    The protein encoded by this gene is an adapter molecule that affects T cell receptor signaling and contains multiple protein-protein interaction domains. It is thought to couple T cell receptor stimulation with activation of integrin function. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
