    Enables DNA-binding transcription factor activity and cis-regulatory region sequence-specific DNA binding activity. Involved in several processes, including neuronal stem cell population maintenance; positive regulation of neuroblast proliferation; and wing disc dorsal/ventral pattern formation. Is expressed in several structures, including extended germ band embryo; germ layer; larval optic anlage; presumptive embryonic/larval central nervous system; and thoracic segment.
