Summary
IraP interferes with RssB, ClpXP-dependent degradation of RpoS by interacting directly with RssB. [More information is available at EcoGene: EG11256]. IraP is an anti-adaptor protein that is required for stabilization of the alternative sigma factor S during phosphate starvation and plays a role in stationary phase and nitrogen starvation. [More information is available at EcoCyc: EG11256].
