Summary
BamD is homologous to N. gonorrhoeae competence protein ComL. [More information is available at EcoGene: EG14222]. Coimmunoprecipitation experiments and sequence analysis identified YaeT, YfiO, and NlpB as forming a large protein complex with YfgL involved in outer membrane protein (OMP) biogenesis.
