Summary
Enables G-protein beta-subunit binding activity and GTP-dependent protein binding activity. Involved in establishment of mitotic spindle orientation; negative regulation of neurogenesis; and regulation of G protein-coupled receptor signaling pathway. Acts upstream of or within negative regulation of ERK1 and ERK2 cascade and positive regulation of neuron projection development. Located in several cellular components, including cell body; growth cone; and photoreceptor inner segment. Is expressed in several structures, including brain; hemolymphoid system gland; liver; otocyst; and retina. Orthologous to human DYNLT1 (dynein light chain Tctex-type 1). [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Apr 2022]
Expression
Broad expression in testis adult (RPKM 809.9), CNS E14 (RPKM 281.5) and 24 other tissues See more

RefSeqs maintained independently of Annotated Genomes

These reference sequences exist independently of genome builds. Explain

These reference sequences are curated independently of the genome annotation cycle, so their versions may not match the RefSeq versions in the current genome build. Identify version mismatches by comparing the version of the RefSeq in this section to the one reported in Genomic regions, transcripts, and products above.
