Enables GTPase activity and small GTPase binding activity. Involved in positive regulation of vasculogenesis. Acts upstream of or within several processes, including negative regulation of synaptic vesicle exocytosis; positive regulation of ERK1 and ERK2 cascade; and positive regulation of neuron projection development. Located in several cellular components, including cell junction; neuron projection; and plasma membrane. Part of guanyl-nucleotide exchange factor complex. Is expressed in brain; early conceptus; hemolymphoid system gland; and oocyte. Orthologous to human RAP1A (RAP1A, member of RAS oncogene family). [provided by Alliance of Genome Resources, Apr 2022]
