What's a GeneRIF?

CASTOR from Lotus japonicus is a highly selective Ca(2+) channel whose activation requires cytosolic/nucleosolic Ca(2+). The soluble domain consists of two tandem RCK domains that assemble into a tetrameric gating ring where Ca2+ can bind and regulate the channel.
