Arginase inhibitor reduces fungal dissemination in murine pulmonary cryptococcosis by promoting anti-cryptococcal immunity

(Submitter supplied) Elevation of arginase enzyme activity in the lung contributes to the pathogenesis of various chronic inflammatory diseases and infections. Inhibition of arginase expression and activity is able to alleviate those effects. Here, we investigated the immunomodulatory effect of arginase inhibitor in C. neoformans infection.
