(Submitter supplied) Mesendoderm (ME) differentiation of human embryonic stem cells (hESCs) is directed by various extrinsic signals together with intrinsic epigenetic modifications. However, the dynamics of epigenetic modifications and their regulation to initiate ME differentiation remain elusive.
