The variant was identified in dbSNP (ID: rs770635587) as â€šÃ„ÃºNAâ€šÃ„Ã¹. The variant was identified in control databases in 12 of 159344 chromosomes at a frequency of 0.000075 (Genome Aggregation Database Feb 27, 2017). The variant was observed in the following populations: African in 1 of 7954 chromosomes (freq: 0.00013), Latino in 1 of 26014 chromosomes (freq: 0.000038), European Non-Finnish in 10 of 68566 chromosomes (freq: 0.00015), while the variant was not observed in the Other, Ashkenazi Jewish, East Asian, European Finnish, or South Asian populations. In addition we cannot be certain that data from control databases is specific to PKD1 and not from one of the six PKD1 pseudogenes.
