Pathogenic for Desbuquois dysplasia 1 — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NM_022166.4(XYLT1):c.1321C>T (p.Arg441Ter), citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): Loss-of-function variants in XYLT1 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 24581741, 26601923). For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals with XYLT1-related conditions. This variant is not present in population databases (ExAC no frequency). This sequence change creates a premature translational stop signal (p.Arg441*) in the XYLT1 gene. It is expected to result in an absent or disrupted protein product.
