Submitter rationale: The c.555G>T variant (also known as p.Q185H), located in coding exon 4 of the FH gene, results from a G to T substitution at nucleotide position 555. The amino acid change results in glutamine to histidine at codon 185, an amino acid with highly similar properties. However, this change occurs in the last base pair of coding exon 4, which makes it likely to have some effect on normal mRNA splicing.
