NM_002907.4(RECQL):c.1239C>G (p.Asp413Glu) was classified as Uncertain significance by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.D413E variant (also known as c.1239C>G), located in coding exon 10 of the RECQL gene, results from a C to G substitution at nucleotide position 1239. The aspartic acid at codon 413 is replaced by glutamic acid, an amino acid with highly similar properties. This amino acid position is highly conserved in available vertebrate species. In addition, the in silico prediction for this alteration is inconclusive. Since supporting evidence is limited at this time, the clinical significance of this alteration remains unclear.
