Uncertain significance — the classification assigned by Ambry Genetics to NM_006947.4(SRP72):c.29C>T (p.Ser10Leu), citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.S10L variant (also known as c.29C>T), located in coding exon 1 of the SRP72 gene, results from a C to T substitution at nucleotide position 29. The serine at codon 10 is replaced by leucine, an amino acid with dissimilar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, this alteration is predicted to be tolerated by in silico analysis. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
