NM_000038.6(APC):c.1799C>G (p.Thr600Ser) was classified as Uncertain significance for Hereditary cancer-predisposing syndrome by Ambry Genetics, citing Ambry Variant Classification Scheme 2023: The p.T600S variant (also known as c.1799C>G), located in coding exon 14 of the APC gene, results from a C to G substitution at nucleotide position 1799. The threonine at codon 600 is replaced by serine, an amino acid with similar properties. This amino acid position is conserved. In addition, in silico predictors for this gene do not accurately predict pathogenicity. Based on the available evidence, the clinical significance of this variant remains unclear.
