Pathogenic for Angelman syndrome — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NM_130839.5(UBE3A):c.2378_2381del (p.Ser793fs), citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. Loss-of-function variants in UBE3A are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 25212744). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals with UBE3A-related conditions. This variant is not present in population databases (ExAC no frequency). This sequence change creates a premature translational stop signal (p.Ser773Leufs*24) in the UBE3A gene. It is expected to result in an absent or disrupted protein product.
