Pathogenic — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000019.10:g.(?_35835695)_(35835771_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): This variant is a gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing exon(s) 23 of the NPHS1 gene. This deletion is out-of-frame, and is expected to create a premature termination codon and result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in NPHS1 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 11317351, 11854170, 12039988). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with NPHS1-related conditions. For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
