Pathogenic for Mucopolysaccharidosis type 7 — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000007.14:g.(?_65967711)_(65970386_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic. Loss-of-function variants in GUSB are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 19224584). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals with GUSB-related conditions. This variant is an out-of-frame deletion of the genomic region encompassing exon(s) 9-10 of the GUSB gene. This is expected to create a premature translational stop signal and result in an absent or disrupted protein product.
