NC_000005.10:g.(?_13691964)_(13944458_?)del was classified as Pathogenic for Primary ciliary dyskinesia by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): A gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing the full coding sequence of the DNAH5 gene has been identified. The boundaries of this event are unknown as the deletion extends beyond the assayed region for this gene and therefore may encompass additional genes. This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals with DNAH5-related conditions. Loss-of-function variants in DNAH5 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 11788826, 16627867). For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
