Pathogenic for Primary ciliary dyskinesia — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000003.12:g.(?_180651381)_(180651553_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): This variant is a gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing exon(s) 9 of the CCDC39 gene. This deletion is out-of-frame, and is expected to create a premature termination codon and result in an absent or disrupted protein product. Loss-of-function variants in CCDC39 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 21131972, 23255504). This variant has not been reported in the literature in individuals affected with CCDC39-related conditions. For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
