Pathogenic — the classification assigned by Labcorp Genetics (formerly Invitae), Labcorp to NC_000003.12:g.(?_129061730)_(129062283_?)del, citing Invitae Variant Classification Sherloc (09022015): A gross deletion of the genomic region encompassing the full coding sequence of the GP9 gene has been identified. Loss-of-function variants in GP9 are known to be pathogenic (PMID: 21699652, 24934643). The boundaries of this event are unknown as they extend beyond the assayed region for this gene and therefore may encompass additional genes. A similar copy number variant has been observed in individual(s) with Bernard-Soulier syndrome (PMID: 32030720). For these reasons, this variant has been classified as Pathogenic.
